We have started this new series, Motivational Monday's on our Instagram. We want to motivate and empower you to own who you are, instead of being what society tells you to be. We provide a quote or a lesson every Monday that can be used as motivation throughout your week. The goal is for you to accept who you are as a whole person. We hope this series is helpful and a tool for attaining gender equality.

Sing-a-long Tuesday's |
Sing-a-long Tuesdays showcase song lyrics from known songs and we explain how they relate to the fight for gender equality on our Instagram. Music is something we all love and use to keep us going. We want to use lyrics to speak you just as your favorite song does. We analyze and breakdown lyrics to educate you about gender stereotypes and expectations in society that artists have used their platform to talk about. We hope that some of these inspirational songs get added to your playlist.

We Talk Wednesday's |
This is a series that we want to use to discuss the progress that has been made to attain gender equality, but also to acknowledge the problems that still exist on our Instagram. This will allow you to hear our voices and connect with us virtually. This is our way to advocate and speak out about the need for equality in this world. We will continue to fight to smash the patriarchy while we are all home at this time. So let's talk about it.

TikTok Thursday's |
TikTok is a very popular app that we want to use as a source of entertainment while we advocate for our issue. Quarantine is inspiring to be creative with the ways to connect with you. TikTok is usually seen as an app to watch entertaining videos, but we want to use that source to catch your attention about gender inequality. This gives us the opportunity to share factual data and situations that genders face through skits.

Weekly Recap |
Every Friday we recap our week. We showcase the memorable parts of each video for our supporters. The recap is to highlight the things that our supporters should have learned and should use to change their mindset about this patriarchal society.

Radical Week 4/27th-5/1st
Over the span of this week posted interactive virtual activities for our supporters to participate in on our Instagram. We included activities that addressed the wellness of a person, self expression, and we intended to have a session to listen to a female politician and learn about her fight to smash the patriarchy,which is postponed for now.
Yoga With The Rosies

One of our members, Hadie, lead a yoga session on our Instagram live. Our intentions were to help release some stress while we all are at home. We want to show genders ways to deal with stress and the pressures of society. This gender stereotypical society can truly affect the mental health of people and yoga is a great way to cope with this stress.

DIY Lip Scrub

While we are all at home, everyone is finding or looking for new ways of beauty routines. Therefore, one of our memebers, Alejandra, hosted a live and creating a homemade lip scrub, that we encourage that everyone should try. We want to acknowledge that self-grooming is not just a "women's thing" every gender can upkeep their appearance.

Art Session
|
One of our members, Jocelyn, created a resistance fist art session and explained it's significance. The resistance fist a representation of solarity and support. It is the symbol of the unity, strength, and resistance. In the past it has been used the violence in the world and the painful affects of it, however we transformed it to fight the pains of gender inequality in the world. This society has been established around the wrong morals and we want to change that. We must resist gender inequality and the patriarchy together.

Angeleno Spirit Art Piece

One of our members, Kelese created an tutorial for an art piece dedicated to the Angeleno Spirit. We want to show our appreciation to our fellow Angelenos that are working together to to keep Los Angeles thriving during this fight to end COVID-19. We want this piece to be a way to say thank you to everyone working to keep us fed, housed, healthy, and safe during this pandemic. We want to note that the is a crucial time for all genders to work together to keep each other safe, gender stereotypes shouldn't be seen as a quality especially at this time. Everyone is valuable and needed to do what's right in order to decrease the lives being lost.
